UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon says he told Russian President Putin that he is 'profoundly concerned' that Ukrainian military bases are being taken over by Russian forces.
Ban says history has shown that small incidents can lead to a situation spiraling out of control, and that the Ukraine crisis could have major ramifications. "History will judge us" on how this is handled, he says.
